Medical Asssistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist medical professionals in performing aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to injectables, laser treatments, and skincare procedures.
  
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  
• Greet and prepare patients for treatments, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  
• Label and properly handle blood samples for laboratory testing.
  
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient inquiries.
  
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program.
  
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical aesthetics or dermatology setting is highly desirable.
  
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program (e.g. CPT, PBT, or similar)
  
• Experience with venepuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples from patients.
  
• Knowledge of aesthetic procedures, products, and equipment.
  
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  
• Current CPR certification is a plus.
